We are delighted you are here and hope you will enjoy the beach, your family and friends, and our home. We have a few things we’d like to share with you:
- After numerous delays, we finally received slings for most of our poolside chairs. As a reminder, do not stand on any of the sling chairs as they will likely tear again (and not available for future guests).
- You’ll note that we have added a red umbrella at the poolside bar and grill area. We know that the granite bar gets pretty hot as there is no shade. Accordingly, the umbrella is an experiment to provide some relief from the mid-day sun.
- To make the umbrella work for you and the guests that follow you, we would appreciate you helping us out with the following:
- Please close (i.e wind down) the umbrella whenever windy conditions are expected or persist. NOTE: there is a silver key that is inserted horizontally through the pole when the umbrella is up. Please remove the pin to close the umbrella.
- We specifically purchased an umbrella that withstands higher than normal windy conditions, but if winds are expected to be above 20 miles an hour, please close the umbrella and tie it up with the red tie that is attached to the umbrella top.
- If winds of greater than 20mph are expected, please remove the collapsed and tied umbrella and lay it on the pool deck.
- Please do not move the umbrella close to the granite counter top. The umbrella pole does sway and it should never be close enough to contact the granite as the granite will likely chip.
- Cornhole boards should always be put away at the end of each day so that the sprinklers that come on early in the morning can water the entire sport court effectively. The best place for the boards is in the sand against the back fence.
- If you should encounter any issues or just want to provide your feedback, please feel free to email us at [email protected]
Thank you for staying at Oz!
